About Angel
Angel Nieto's career in healthcare began at Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Midland, Texas, where his first job was in the maintenance department as a landscaper. That experience inspired him to pursue a career in the medical field. Today, he brings 26 years of experience to cardiopulmonary care, including 21 years of service at MCHD.
Angel enjoys reading and horse racing.
Angel has spent more than two decades serving MCHD and working alongside departments throughout the hospital.
One of his proudest achievements was the start of 24-hour, seven-day-a-week cardiopulmonary services at MCHD.
His vision is to continue expanding and growing the Cardiopulmonary Department to better serve the needs of the community.
