Martin County Hospital District is proud to recognize Mallory Villa as the April Employee of the Month for her dedication, teamwork and exceptional support of orthopedic patients and colleagues.
Mallory was recognized for consistently stepping forward wherever she is needed. Over the past year, she has accepted additional responsibilities within MCHD’s orthopedic service line while continuing to provide dependable support to patients and staff.
Her ability to balance patient care, scheduling, coordination and clinical support reflects a team-first approach that has made a meaningful difference throughout the organization.
Mallory consistently demonstrates a willingness to help wherever additional support is needed. As MCHD’s orthopedic services have continued to grow, she has taken on new responsibilities while maintaining the same attention and care she brings to her everyday work.
Her reliability allows patients and coworkers to know that important details will be handled thoughtfully, accurately and with genuine concern for everyone involved.
Mallory helps ensure orthopedic patients have the information, resources and support they need throughout their care. She checks on their well-being, addresses questions and concerns, and continues to participate directly in patient care.
Her attention to each patient’s experience helps create a more coordinated and reassuring process before, during and after orthopedic appointments and procedures.
In addition to supporting patients directly, Mallory manages a wide range of responsibilities that help keep services organized and moving forward.
Checking on patients, addressing concerns and helping ensure they have what they need throughout their care.
Helping coordinate appointments and important next steps for orthopedic patients and their families.
Supporting communication and organization across the different services involved in each patient’s care.
Assisting with CT, laboratory responsibilities and other clinical needs while continuing to support patient care.
Participating in education and training while balancing the daily needs of patients and her team.
Stepping into additional roles when needed and helping coworkers manage changing priorities.
Mallory’s willingness to go above and beyond has made a significant impact on both the patients she serves and the team members who rely on her.
