Bistro20 has earned four Gold honors in the 2026 MRT Readers’ Choice Awards, recognizing the restaurant, its menu, and Chef Maxwell Warner among readers’ favorites across the Permian Basin.
The results are in, and Bistro20 brought home Gold in every category in which it was recognized.
The annual MRT Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate businesses, restaurants, professionals, and organizations selected by readers throughout the region. For Bistro20, this year’s results include recognition for everything from appetizers and hamburgers to the restaurant as a destination and the chef behind the kitchen.
Bistro20 was created to offer something different: a restaurant experience that serves hospital employees, patients, visitors, and the wider community.
Recognition as a Gold Destination Restaurant in the Permian Basin is particularly meaningful because it reflects how far Bistro20 has grown beyond the traditional idea of hospital dining.

Among Bistro20’s four honors is a Gold award for Local Chef, recognizing Chef Maxwell Warner.
From developing the menu to leading the Bistro20 kitchen, Chef Warner and his team have helped build the restaurant’s reputation around food that people genuinely want to come back for.
The individual recognition for Chef Warner, alongside Gold awards for appetizers and hamburgers, makes the results an especially fitting reflection of the work happening in the kitchen every day.
Awards may come with a name or category attached, but delivering a consistently strong dining experience takes an entire team.
